Heartland Incubation Hub, a Venture of Oluaka Institute is excited to announce its collaboration with Startup Nigeria 2019.
Startup Nigeria is an incubation program designed by Ventures Platform to take innovative founders from idea stage to Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to market. It is currently being executed in partnership with the National Social Investment Office of Nigeria(NSIP) and it collaborates with 10 Hub in 3 geopolitical zones.
The 2019 Startup Nigeria Program will target startups in the North West, North Central and South East geopolitical zones.
Heartland Incubation Hub (HIH), a venture of Oluaka Institute is coordinating the project in Owerri, Imo State. Roar Hub – Enugu, Devamplify- Awka, and IgHub – Aba are the Hubs coordinating the project in their respective location covering the South-east geopolitical zone.
Startup Nigeria is a 3-Month Incubation Program designed to support innovative idea-staged companies across Nigeria with funding, mentorship and training. The curriculum is specifically designed to move companies from ideas to viable products/services.
There will be a pool of Mentors to help startups accelerate business growth and help entrepreneurs succeed faster.
To top it up is Equity free funding for Startups of up to Naira 2,000,000 to help the startups move their ideas forward. The Program supports visionary entrepreneurs!
Startup Nigeria 2019 is interested in innovative ideas and startups creating solutions in Agriculture, Governance, Hospitality, Finance, Commerce and Transport.

The Info Session will discuss the Overview of the Startup Nigeria Programme, Eligibility Criteria, Program Phases as well as Q & A session and On-site application.
Heartland Incubation Hub is established to solve the problem of inadequate support structure, mentorship system for incubating, or developing business ideas by young people in south-east Nigeria.
Last year, Heartland Hub partnered with Slush Global Impact Accelerator Program- a Finland based startup program to build capacity of local entrepreneurs working on Sustainable development goal in Nigeria. Since the Hub launched last year, it has worked with over 30 startups.
