We are happy to announce the 15 impact startups that have made it to the 2018 local accelerator of Slush GIA Program. The selection was made from over 160 applications.
The Slush GIA and Heartland Incubation Hub assessed these applications with five criteria in mind: business Idea that has gained some traction, a solution that supports sustainable development goals, scalability, uniqueness, and team.
All shortlisted startups will be invited to the local accelerator program at Heartland Incubation Hub, Owerri from August 6- August 31, 2018. Details of the final pitch event will be available soon.
The Last week of the Accelerator Program will hold a pitch competition where the shortlisted startups will be narrowed down to 3 finalists who will have the opportunity to make the all-expense paid trip to Helsinki, Finland.
Global Impact Accelerator brings impact-driven entrepreneurs from emerging markets to Helsinki to accelerate their business, attract additional financing, and build long-lasting networks. The Program Culminates to Helsinki Bootcamp from Nov 27 – Dec 6, 2018, and Slush.
